What kind of website do you need?

We think of websites as belonging to several categories: commercial, branding (web presence), and informational.

On the commercial side are the classic store fronts; we can make one for you.

Branding consists of “being there on the web” ; a site that says your company exists, and tells it’s story. You don’t need to be selling anything – and this site, ours, the one you’re reading, is in this category.

Informational sites are often “dashboards”; visual summaries of the financial or other metrics of the firm, or can be portals into a whole range of data and the sharing of information for the firm or others.

We’ve made all of these varieties, as well as news sites ( an organization’s newsletter that also had international news and editorials) , and sites based around mapping data points and giving store owners the capacity to note their existence and location.

In most cases you’ll seek maximum exposure, also known as SEO, for “search engine optimization”.

When someone looking for you or a similar firm types a query in Google, some sites are on the top of the page, some in the middle or bottom of the first page and some are pages down, and thus almost never seen.

We’re good at building sites that come to the top; ie have good SEO. That’s how you found us, yes?

In highly competitive markets this may need to be supplemented by paid advertising with Google; we can assist in this process too.
